Bless the Food

Why do you suppose that even Jesus blessed food before eating it? We now know that everything is energy and is affected by energy. We also know that our words are powerful. Even the Bible speaks of the power of life and death given to the tongue.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits. Proverbs 18:21 ESV
Therefore, the purpose of blessing the food is more than a statement of thanks, it is an action of energizing the food to be nutritious as the Creator intended. In this day and age, when corporations are adding pesticides to our food and genetically modifying the food (so they make more money), it is more important than ever that people take the time to bless or energize their food before consuming it. Even if you doubt this premise of energizing food, it certainly will not hurt to place yourself in a state of gratitude before eating. Just as plants grow stronger when you talk to them (experiment for yourself), so will food respond to the power of your words, especially raw foods. Is it just coincidence that ancient people, particularly native Americans, thanked the animal they hunted and treated it respectably? I think not.

The topic of prosperity can sometimes cause controversy among believers, churches and denomination. It’s a complicated concept and there are no easy answers, yet the Bible says that God wants us to prosper. It's a well-known bible teaching even though some preachers refuse to talk about it. There are many reasons WHY we do not prosper when we think we should. I believe we should always have faith in God’s promises, and seek the blessings He proclaimed to us. Prosperity is promised to those of faith... but there are conditions to prosperity. One of the primary blocks to prosperity is the condition of our heart. Sometimes it seems that God is just not listening, but we should not lose hope or faith. Perhaps we should examine our hearts from time to time, and see if there is something lingering there that is actually blocking the blessings that God wants to send our way. What is the Word

The study of God. It's on on-going process and I encourage everyone to become a student. There are many discrepancies and contradictions in the Bible, which to many people today wrongly call "The Word of God." I don't know when the Bible became the "Word," but when I was a child the Word was God, it was not a book. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
